this is indeed labor intensive. tiles come off alot easier on “how to” videos.
To remove a lot of tiles, an electric jackhammer can be a lifesaver. You can rent them for around $50 and do a large room in a matter of minutes. I would only use the hammer+chisel if you had less than a dozen to remove.
